    The S10 ZR2 was bad for the same stuff. The entire front end setups in these trucks are too light duty for a truck that sits up that high and is advertised as an off road capable vehicle.

A lot of the led headlamps are Chinese junk that blind oncoming traffic and produce a blue light. Check out Koito 7” headlamps from Japan. Great lights.

    Take your throttle loose from where it is and move it to where the throttle lever comes out near the choke. Do the same as you did on your choke. Use the same clamp that holds the choke cable conduit to hold the throttle conduit (throttle on top choke on bottom) This will make it where you will move your controller more from low RPM to full power, making it easier to find the sweet spot on whatever you are doing. On mine I used a spring off of a old lawnmower carb as a helper for return. Really did not need it but had it and used it From factory I had about 3/4 of an inch from mim rpm to full rpm. Now I have about 2/3 of the controller

And would that be enough of a filter or should I add an external filter? Its the 2024 model with the R420 15 horsepower motor.

    • @FabbinAdventures
      @FabbinAdventures Месяц назад

      Wierd, there is not many placrs to hide a big external hydraulic filter. Im guessing if you dont see one, you dont have one. The filters in the tank are really just screens. A real filter would be nice, but not sure if its really needed. It definitely will help if something breaks down in the system to stop the pieces from going through your pump and valves. I had my BTC650DP for a couple weeks now and curiosity got the best of me about the output. I put a meter around the ground cable, set the machine to 65 amps and cut some 3/8 plate. The meter only measure 50.5 amps output. I emailed Bestarc and they said that was the limit of the machine. No response on why they advertise it as a 65 amp model. Also at max air setting for 65 amps, my pilot arc will pulse on/off about every second (on 220v) no matter if I had the PA set for 3sec or 15 sec. It would work fine on 110v. Looking through the manual it states that a nozzle with a 3/64" orifice is good for 0-40 amps and a 1/16" orifice is good from 40-80 amps. The only tips that came with mine have a 1mm orifice (.039"). 3/64" translates into .045" or about 1.15mm. I ordered some bigger tips and the on/off pulsing of the pilot arc I had went away. I have yet to see if the stated voltage output is accurate. The fan eventually goes off too. With that said, It will still cut 3/4" plate "ok". Not bad for the $348 I got it for.

    I didnt hear a overall cost, maybe I missed it. I saw the parts list though. Is that complete? Maybe $200 in parts? You can get the ram kit from the mfr on most of these for around $300 ish, but they arent as clean as cutting off the mount like you did.

    Wow! Wish old Jerry Boyd and I had known this trick to keep my smoker door from springing in 1987.
